How To Purchase Video: https://bigwestmarketing.com/2020/07/02/how-to-purchase-an-ssl-certificate-for-7-per-year/
Hey everybody, this is Joe Burnich with bigwestmarketing.com. I just want to make a quick video right now on a scam that is going around. People are calling small businesses, they find out if they have a website for their business, and then they’ll try to sell them what’s called an SSL certificate. Many of you already have an SSL certificate so you don’t need to worry about this, but we’ve had two clients for sure, maybe three or four, that have been approached by this company and they’re selling SSL certificates for $300 per year. That is an absolute rip off. The most you need to spend is $7.02 and that’s with comodosslstore.com. I will put a link below this video to that, and then I’ve also got a video that I’ll include that I made a while back that is step by step of me actually going through and purchasing one of these SSL certificates.
I recommend anybody who cares about us or cares about SEO to go ahead and purchase this, it’s $7.02 per year, and it will need to be renewed every two years. You can also buy it out for five, 10 years and it’s definitely worth that, so you just have that. It also gives you a little padlock up at the top of the screen if you notice that. If you don’t have it can say not secure. Some people, they get on your website, that may scare them off, so it’s just a good thing to have, it’s very cheap.
If you’re our client we can get that installed for you, we just need the username and password of the comodosslstore.com. After you purchase it we just need your username and password, you can email that to us, we’ll take care of it. If you’re not a client you need to have your web designer take care of that for you. If you have any questions let me know. (406) 493-1881. Somebody here in the office can help you out with that. Or if you’re getting this in an email, you can always respond to the email and ask your questions that way. Once again, my name is Joe Burnich with bigwestmarketing.com and I’ll talk to you soon.
