What’s Included in Managed Hosting?
Managed hosting gives you more freedom and peace of mind because we take care of the technical details, security, updates, and backups for you.
Here's what's included (If you don't understand all the technical stuff, don't worry. That's why we're here):
- Personal Website Management: We manage your website's technical needs, including security checks, WordPress updates, plugin updates, and ongoing maintenance.
- 1 Hour of Web Design Every Month: Need changes to your website? Your hosting includes one hour of design and update time each month, normally valued at $100/hour.
- Quality-Controlled Hosting: We only host websites we build and maintain. We don't fill our servers with unknown websites that could create security or performance problems.
- Daily Security and Functionality Monitoring: We monitor your website for potential issues, outdated software, and security vulnerabilities so problems can be addressed quickly.
- Weekly Offsite Backups with Duplicator Pro: We use Duplicator Pro to back up your website every week. Backups are stored separately in our Amazon S3 cloud storage account, providing an additional layer of protection if your website needs to be restored.
- Premium WordPress Plugins: We provide and maintain several premium plugins that help with website performance, design, backups, and functionality.
- SSL Certificate: Your website includes an SSL certificate to encrypt information exchanged between your website and its visitors.

Premium Plugins Included With Your Website
Your website may use premium WordPress plugins that are licensed through Big West Marketing. We cover these licenses while your website is hosted and managed by us.
Here's what you should know if you decide to move your website to another hosting provider.

| Duplicator Pro | Our premium license key will be removed. You'll need your own license if you want to continue using its premium backup features. |
| Web Accessibility (Elementor) | This free plugin may need to be connected to your own Elementor account to maintain access and renew its connection. |
What Happens If You Move Your Website?
Your website belongs to you, and you're free to move it to another hosting provider.
However, our managed hosting services, weekly backups, maintenance, and certain premium plugin licenses do not transfer with your website.
Before moving, keep these things in mind:
- Your new hosting provider will be responsible for website security, updates, backups, and technical maintenance.
- Premium plugins licensed through Big West Marketing may require your own paid subscriptions to continue receiving updates and support.
- Our weekly Duplicator Pro backups are stored in our Amazon S3 account and will not continue after your hosting service ends.
- Some plugins may continue functioning without an active license, but premium features, updates, or support may become unavailable.
- We recommend setting up a new backup system and reviewing plugin licenses as part of your website transfer.
